our mission

Politicians on both sides of the aisle have always used corruption to further their own careers at the expense of the citizens they represent. But over time our society has become desensitized to the dishonesty, corruption, and blatant disregard for the rule of law that runs rampant in our politics.

According to a 2018 poll by AARP and the Association of Young Americans (AYA), 86 percent of respondents said honesty in government was very important to the future of our country, making it the top issue cited by all three generations.

We know that it doesn’t have to be this way. Our mission is to educate the public about the importance of integrity as a core value for all public officials and to promote integrity as the most important criterion for preserving democracy. Americans must once again have faith that elected representatives and public servants have their constituents’ best interests at heart.

Our movement is nonpartisan - simply because we believe that every government official, at all levels of government, should be held to a standard of integrity.

Integrity for public officials has three requirements: honesty, a strict avoidance of conflict of interest, and respect for the rule of law. We believe that it’s time for citizens stand up and demand that integrity be a requirement for serving in public office. Our democracy is under attack from multiple angles — and we can’t fix it alone.

Make Integrity Great Again is about restoring integrity and character in our politics and in our leaders. Will you join us?
