Creator of the SIFT methodology, he has taught thousands of teachers and students how to verify claims and sources through his workshops.
Sam Wineburg is the Margaret Jacks Professor of Education, Emeritus, at Stanford University. He is a scholar of history, cognitive science, and education whose works have appeared in various outlets, including Cognitive Science, the Journal of American History, the New York Times, TIME Magazine, and the Smithsonian.
